Engagement and wedding rings, matched as a pair
A bridal set is the engagement ring and the wedding band designed to sit together, so the band follows the line of the ring instead of fighting it. Buying them as a pair is the easiest way to be sure of that, though it is not the only way.
If the engagement ring already exists, bring it in. Matching a band to a ring that is already owned is ordinary bench work for us, and it is usually a better answer than replacing a ring somebody said yes to.
Do the rings have to be bought together?
No. We can match a band to an engagement ring you already have, whoever made it. Bring the ring and we will work to it.
Can a band be shaped around an engagement ring?
Yes — a contoured or notched band is made to follow the ring it sits against, which is what stops the pair from rocking apart. That is made to order, usually about three weeks.
Can both rings be sized?
Sizing happens at our bench, and a set is sized together so the pair still meets correctly afterwards.
