An antique Art Deco Old European and single cut diamond and sapphire pin/brooch in platinum with a 14k white gold pin, 80 mm (3.14 inches) long and 11 mm wide. The center is an Old European cut diamond of 0.3 ct, F-G in color and SI in clarity. Forty-four single and Old Mine cut side diamonds add approximately 0.93 ct, F-I in color and VS-I1 in clarity. There are also 32 blue sapphires that were not tested or included in the value; it is not known whether they are natural or synthetic, as art deco jewelry from this era often used synthetic sapphires. The brooch weighs 8.7 grams.
