🔷HISTORY OF THIS BROOCH

When a nice couple brought this brooch to my brick and mortar showroom in San Diego, I asked as I often do if they could tell me about the ring’s original owner. They told me the brooch originally belonged to the gentleman’s grandmother. I invited them to enjoy a cup of Persian tea with me and I asked what his grandmother might say was the key to a happy marriage. He said every weekend growing up, everyone ate at his grandparents’ house, and the meals were always made by his grandmother and grandfather together. It was almost like a date for them to work together preparing the ingredients and cooking them for their loved ones. The gentleman at my showroom pointed out that something special happens when people eat together and he believed something special happens when people cook together as well. I thought it was interesting advice and definitely believe any couple would be helped by enjoying more special time together whether or not it involves cooking. I learned he was selling jewelry because his grandson was having a baby and he wanted fly to him for a visit. I was happy to meet him and happy to buy this beautiful brooch.
